always look on the bright side of life...

when you're sad, when you're mad... just think of the things that make you glad ;)

yes, little kitties stuck in tea cups make me smile,
but the thing that makes me most happy
is when a single praise reminds me of all I have accomplished
despite the many hardships and obstacles
and then there's hope in me once again!

what brightens up your day?

pink elephants

just saw "Remember Me"
can't remember the last time I cried so hard in the theater or even to a movie for that matter...

i certainly won't give away the ending but only say what I took away from it...

tragedy comes in many forms but running away from it does not make it disappear. ignoring it will not make it disappear. the giant pink elephant will always return to bite you until it learns to stay away. yeah the movie had nothing to do with that last part but sometimes all we need is one little bite to open our eyes... no no, i'm not high. only high on life (chaching!)....

meet crabby maggie

this little sourpuss here I adopted 2 years ago from a rescue agency at the tender age of 10.

she was abused and neglected by her previous owner and has
spent a few months in a cage at a vets office.

her story broke my heart knowing that no one else would ever take in a
10 year old traumatized cat. no one in her life would ever love her. can you imagine never feeling loved?

so here we are 2 years later: she still refuses to come out from under my bed, she hates people, most especially me (when I'm awake) and enjoys spilling her food all over my floor as an odd way of marking territory, or else laziness.

and YET she wakes me up every morning by eating my hair.
yes, you read correctly, she eats my hair.
